Ryan Leslie, Seton Healthcare’s vice president of analytics and health economics, is quote in a recent Bloomberg/Businessweek blog. Leslie who shared the stage with Sprint Innovation and Advanced Labs Director Von McConnell at the IBM event, offered an example of how data led his hospital system to think differently.

Big Data has arrived at Seton Healthcare Family. According to an article published in Forbes Magazine, Seton Healthcare is the first hospital system to adopt and use content analytics technology similar to that found on IBM’s Watson technology which trounced its human competition on the TV game show Jeopardy.
