Healthcare professionals, marketers, PR professionals and journalists were lifted to new heights at the 2nd Annual SXSW Interactive Health Happy Hour. More than 200 healthcare attendees rose eleven stories to unoccupied office space for the opportunity network with colleagues from around the country.

The event was hosted by HCB Health, an Austin-based healthcare ad agency, and HealthTap, an interactive health network dedicated to improving health and well-being.
Entrepreneurs, developers, marketers, and key opinion leaders from healthcare marketing, mobile health and patient advocacy networked while listening to the sounds of Austin artists “The New Maps” and “Neiliyo” and enjoying the panoramic view overlooking the streets of Austin filled with SXSW tents and activities
The happy hour featured a sprint for t-shirts Big Wheel Race sponsored by iTriage, a new mobile and web healthcare platform. Attendees also had the opportunity to capture the evening with Flipbook photo booth keepsakes.
Other sponsors for the events included Massive Health, a developer of a mobile app for healthy eating, and MedTouch, an interactive medical website developer.
“It was a great opportunity to visit with colleagues in the healthcare profession from Austin and around the country,” said Adrienne Lallo, Director of Communications for Austin-based Seton Healthcare Family. “This is one reason why SXSW is such a treasure for the City of Austin.”
