A “Muy Caliente” Time in Austin To Benefit Children and Families

As the sun set on Austin and the  city lights came ablaze, so did the stage at the Austin Music Hall as more than 650 supporters of Any Baby Can crowed the stage to hear the music of Grupo Fantasma at the organizations annual fund raising event.

Any Baby Can is a nonprofit in Austin who mission is to improve the lives of children and their families through education, therapy and family support services. The organization bring help and hope to the youngest, sickest, and poorest children in and their families.

Rockin’ Roundup Muy Caliente”, the theme for the fundraiser sponsored by Northwestern Mutual, featured music, silent auctions, food catered by Pascal’s and drinks.

The organizers provided an inspirational and moving moment of a mothers and her small child that benefited from its services shortly before raising more than $110,000 from the gathered crowd.

The Latin musical sounds of Grammy award winning Groupo Fantasma drew the crowd to their feet as well as the dance floor.

During the past year, Any Baby Can has provided services to more than 8000 need mothers and children, nearly doubling the number served in previous years. The organizations firmly believes that the child can be saved without losing the family. All services are free of charge, regardless of income.
